Meadowlarks

The film narrates the journey of four Cree siblings—Connie, Marianne, Gwen, and Anthony—who were separated during their infancy due to Canada's infamous Sixties Scoop, a government-led initiative that removed Indigenous children from their families to place them with white foster or adoptive families. Driven by curiosity and a sense of excitement, yet haunted by fears of rejection, the siblings decide to reunite for the first time during a holiday weekend amidst the scenic mountains of Banff.
