Iron Lung

All the stars have vanished. The planets are gone. Only the isolated individuals aboard space stations and starships remain to face what’s known as The Quiet Rapture. After decades of deterioration and dilapidated infrastructure, the Consolidation of Iron uncovers something on a desolate moon labeled AT-5—a vast, crimson ocean of blood. Driven by desperation for vital resources, they swiftly organize an expedition. A specialized submarine is built, with a convict sealed inside as part of the mission. Given the extreme pressure and depth of the alien sea, the forward viewport is reinforced with metal shielding. Success means freedom for the crew; failure, another doomed attempt. This marks the 13th expedition into the abyss.
