The Fence

A massive public infrastructure initiative is underway across West Africa. Horn, the site supervisor, and Cal, a novice engineer, share accommodations within their secure compound, situated behind towering double gates. That same evening, Leone—Horn's newlywed wife—arrives to join them. Their peaceful routine is suddenly disrupted when a mysterious man named Alboury appears at the perimeter fence. Like a shadow lurking in the night, he demands the return of his brother’s body, who tragically lost his life earlier that day on the construction site. Alboury’s relentless pursuit of justice continues throughout the night, forcing Horn and Cal to confront an unforeseen crisis as Leone witnesses the unfolding drama, helpless and overwhelmed.
