Under the cover of darkness, Renuka manages a daring escape from a Delhi brothel, having fatally wounded a police officer in the process. She seeks sanctuary among a group of sex workers in northern India, where she crosses paths with Devika, a young woman destined for a life of prostitution. As their friendship deepens, a forbidden romance blossoms between them.
