The Wrath of God

Ilija, a member of the Croatian Defence Council (HVO), operated in Central Bosnia in late 1993. During a routine mine-laying operation one morning, he receives devastating news: his younger brother Goran has been killed far behind enemy lines, along with eight other soldiers. Through a contact within the secret service, Ilija uncovers that the mission was unofficial and that Goran and his comrades were serving as mercenaries. Driven by a desire for justice, Ilija begins to unravel a complex web of illegal activities involving military personnel and high-ranking officials. As his investigation intensifies and the danger grows, his initial quest to uncover the truth gradually transforms into a personal, obsessional pursuit of vengeance.
