A Poet

Oscar, a middle-aged and unpredictable man, is a once-promising writer now fallen on hard times. Unemployed and residing with his family, he drifts through the streets of Medellín in a drunken haze, lamenting the decline of literature in his homeland. He has embraced the stereotypical image of the tortured artist, overwhelmed by disillusionment. Yet, when given the chance to mentor a promising young student, Oscar sees an opportunity for redemption—if he can overcome his own flaws and not let it slip away.
