Transforming herself by donning a monkey costume and adopting a fresh identity, Jane seeks to escape a toxic relationship. Along the way, she meets Roy, a radio show host battling suicidal thoughts, who offers her a glimpse of liberation. Together, they embark on a journey across the country in Roy’s Airstream trailer. As they travel, the unlikely pair devise a risky scheme to fund their fresh start—one that could either secure their freedom or land them behind bars. Meanwhile, Jane’s domineering partner, Wade, is determined to crush her escape and reclaim control over her life.
