As a new school year kicks off at Clearwater High, shapeshifter Carag and his friends Brandon, Holly, and Lou face fresh challenges and adventures. However, before classes start, the Woodwalker Council must determine whether Andrew Milling—Carag’s mentor and the revered protector of the school—is responsible for attacking humans. Carag finds himself caught in a difficult position: he desires to prevent Milling’s harmful deeds, yet Milling offers a tempting incentive—if Carag covers for him during the council’s investigation, Milling will introduce him to his genuine puma family. This moral dilemma tests Carag’s loyalty and integrity as he navigates between friendship, trust, and justice.
