In 1965 Tamil Nadu, India, Chezhiyan finds himself caught in a fierce agitation that endangers the livelihoods of the people in Madras State. As he strives to safeguard his fervent student brother, Chezhiyan is drawn into a deadly conflict against a relentless intelligence officer whose fanatic zeal is matched only by his merciless tactics.
