Walker, a freelance artist and gig worker, is struggling to cope with the chaos and uncertainty of city life. Seeking a sense of control and financial stability to strengthen his relationship with his driven girlfriend, Kylie, he takes on an unusual and high-paying dog-walking assignment. The job leads him to a remote mansion where he encounters Doug—a man who has chosen to live completely as a dog. Though initially disgusted by the bizarre sight, Walker decides to stay, rationalizing the dehumanizing experience as just another job in his lineup.
