Ryan is a man struggling to cope with the heartbreaking loss of his fiancée. Alongside his friends, he receives support from a compassionate witch who chooses to use her magical abilities to help ease their sorrow. However, the spell she casts has an unexpected consequence: it animates a toy doll, which turns out to be quite hostile.
