The Tundra Within Me

After spending several years in Oslo, Lena returns to Sápmi in northern Norway with her young son to delve into Sami gender identities through an art project. During her research amidst the snowy tundra, she develops a deep connection with Máhtte, a reindeer herder. However, Máhtte’s mother, the family matriarch, disapproves of their relationship. Confronted by lingering decisions from the past, Lena faces a challenging journey to determine if their contrasting ways of life can truly coexist.
